introducing NZ Champion ROLLED GOLD of COBBERLAND "Beau" ECLKA 2004-2005 Dog of the Year |
Beau was one of a litter of 5, and of his litter he is the only one to enter the
show ring. We were lucky enough to have been able to choose our puppy. Beau was
the noisiest and most chubby in the litter. We have to thank his breeder Shirley Campbell as without her, we would not have had our boy. We hope we have done you proud Shirley. Beau has matured into the lovely dog we have as part of our family today. He lives with his "brothers" Wag our Affenpinscher, and Qwerty our cat. He is a spoilt family pet first and foremost, with the showing a hobby on the side. He is as yet to be titled, but it is not too far away. He loves nothing better than to play a game of fetch with a ball, and is a pretty dab hand at catching it mid air too. He is now 3 yrs and to date has not been to stud. He would like to alter that!! Showing a Sheltie is no easy task, there are some absolutely beautiful Shelties being campaigned at present, so to receive the honour of DOY is, for us, a truly memorable moment. Our thanks to all the competitors we have shown against and also to the judges, for without you all we couldn't have achieved this honour. Thank you all!!
