2010 "The end of one era; the start of a new era" when we welcomed our beautiful new Cairn Terrier The GLENMAC prefix was registered when we bred our first litter of Cairn Terriers in 1981 - the breed we first seriously, and successfully, ventured into the showring with. After 2 Cairn litters, with a Champion in each, we made the decision to go back to our original breed and welcomed 'Pebbles', the foundation of the GLENMAC PEMBROKES, to our family. We have had a lot of fun and success with our Pembrokes for nearly 25 years and it was a thrill to win the ECLKA Dog of the Year award for 2008 - 2009 with "Chevy", the last Pembroke Joy campaigned, but with the need for a smaller, lighter dog, are now looking forward to exciting times with the Cairns again. |
